the painting from Qi Baishi is really famous and I would like to add the element to my piece.

Here, for the main body, I used the lace to cover it,  cover waterproof and heel with the painting.

For link lace and ink, I use the drop ink technique with simple shape.
add a vector shape lace behand.

I used 2 layers and the pen tool to make the shape.
the idea of the pice behand the shoe is from the lace heels by Valentino.

I would like to do my major project in concept ways.

For put my design in to the shape, I use the pen tool on Photoshop to make a shoe shape as 4 layers.

I tried to make a lace print, but the effect is surpassed my imagination.

I would like to use those pattens as a main body.

I then used the curve tool to change the tone to make it more clear and show the dark and light.

 I have tried to use different things to cover the heel but the image was not good, so I leave it like this

To improve my idea, I am going to do further research.

I've researched further and found a website (see link below) that has the whole collection of Valentino's lace inspired shoes (designed by milliner Philip Treacy), this was from the Spring/Summer 2010 Collection and I am using these designs as direct inspiration for my own final pieces.  However, my designs will be using ink and lace patterns and textures.

I like the simple elegance of this court shoe combined with the nude colour palette of the lace itself.  My designs will be influenced by the shape that this style of lace creates.

In contrast to the court shoe, this open toed sandal relies on the movement of the model to show the full extent of the designed lace work.  It is the combination of the very elegant lines and simplicity of the sandal and the complexity of the lace ruffles on the heel of the shoe that I would like to explore further and add to my own designs on at least one of my final pieces.

Qi Baishi is an famous Chinese ink painting and writing artist.

            Qibaishi

He especially good at painting live things, for example fish and shrimp.

His works are natural and vivid elegance.

 This is one of his most famous work, the details are really nice. My favorite thing of his work is he using the ink to draw dark and light, in my final pice I would like to use the dark and light technique.

to improve my idea, I am going to do further research.

I did a google search for material shops in Leicester and found that there was a shop called material magic, I went there and saw the laces with different textures, colours and patterns. I bought 3 king of lace.

this lace have flowers and leafs pattens, white colour and plastic texture. It usually use for wearing.

same as last one, but the colour is black, usually use more than the white one, for example silk stockings.

 this lace is using the soft flocking, it's heavier and also bigger pattens. it usually use for the covers.

and it is the one that I am looking at, the lace element high heels designed by Philip Treacy





this shoes used the elements lace relate flowers leafs, the design out of the shoes is my favourite part.

I used mobile to photo it and use Photoshop cut out the blank spaces.

Then I copy and paste as repeat pattern.
